Yeah and honestly, Terence loves this equipment, and THIS horn is so drastically different in design that it will sound different, period. He likes it, more power to him.

Monette, the worst piece of crap ever. Listen to Terence with Blakey, "How Deep is the Ocean." He could not play like that with the Monette. Everyone sounds the same when they play it.

yeah guys, Terence is playing a Monette AjnaII. Practically their heaviest horn. The mouthpiece is the above STC1 weight, which is actually, as you have mentioned, built into the horn. This supposed to get rid of any possible gap in the horns air flow, and it adds a ton of weight to the mouthpiece/mouthpiece receiver, further darkening and centering the sound. Man Terence sounds great on this one. Every time ive seen him live, hes completely killed!

MONETTE!

hes playing on some kind of a built in mouthpiece, it may be completely attached or possibly just be customized where the reciever ends up covering the visible part of the mouthpiece man this guy has so much vocab, its dripping outta his ears
