I loved imagining the story behind this song. In '85 I was 10, so it was a few years later I discovered Anne Rice books and the connection was further elucidated. I think the song stands on its own.

Thanks. Didn't know the song's based off the novel and no doubt it's a fitting choice for the movie.

The song was based off the Anne Rice novel of "Interview with the Vampire", so it's a fitting choice to have this song play on the scenes of the movie based of that work of fiction.

Ten utwór oraz film ma ten klimat którego niektórzy ludzie nie poczują i nie zrozumieją

Certainly a great bass line, and a incredibly well constructed and developes ambient of sordid, insomny, insanity, all packed with a great sense of elegance and finesse... Well, it´s Sting!!

That's an ingenious song.
I always loved this dream-of-the-blue-turtles-stuff ever since Sting released it back in 1985.
Are you sure he re-issued this song for the 1994 movie 'Interview with the Vampire'? Not sure.
Anyway, it's a great song for a great movie.

This song is awesome. Even if you never saw Interview W/A Vampire. Just friggin' awesome!

This should have been the song for the end credits and not Guns Roses. Still, great movie and genius novel. Thanks for posting!
