He kinda liked the sound it made so he had one made! I know that King made a Silver Flair in the Gillespie Model the last ones Dizzy played were made by LeBlanc

Be-Bop jazz, and Dizzy started it all over
60 years ago! In this country, you'll never
find it on the radio anymore. It requires too
much talent, and is too costly to produce. Hip-Hop and rap-crap killed music here!
