... yeah he had passion... but he's just an amateur at opera singing. I bet he's never had professional training. Having gone to several operas I know he stands no chance in the operas themselves with the voice he has in this video. If he really wants to do it, he needs ACTUAL training.

Neither of them (Potts Boyd) is a really good tenor. You should go to a real opera house rather then watch TV. Doesn't have to be NYC or Milan - anywhere in the world you will find way better tenors. Less commercial support and industry behind it, though...
