@katikar1
So by providing funds to NASA, we will effectly increase interest in Science? Thats a very misleading and uneducated statement. why not put that money directly into education? Infact, lets take the money from NASA, what have they done to further our scientific study of space besides collect dust and tell us things that are irrelevent to space travel?
That is purely opinion but funding NASA to better education is the stupidest thing i've heard in a long time

Bush gave tax breaks to rich people and corporations. He started two wars. He strained relations with numerous countries, particularly in the EU. I would rather have inaction by comparison.

@colekrieger69 - I don't even like Obama. He's a celebrity, Wallstreet-pocketed president to me, but I also don't like it when people blow things out of proportion because of their own political agenda. Joe Biden is a complete idiot - nuff said. Clinton was a fairly good president. Notice you didn't mention any Republicans. What about Bush and all the dumbass things he did. Palin' s hand notes. Rumsfeld, Cheney. These idiots are more of a reflection of awful American politics.

So you only defended the Obama one, see this bugs me i think everybody still thinks to highly of Obama. I mean what about Joe biden telling that wheelchair dude to stand up i mean that is and excusable mistake. Or clinton falling asleep during that guys rambling, Those are all excusable mistakes as well.

@votumseparatum1 yes, but its still a really awkward mistake.

in my opinion, one of our governments greatest failings is in the funding for NASA being cut. we want to get education going, but kids aren't interested in science any more, so in the 1960's, what got kids interested? the space program! but now they've cut the funding for NASA, so what does that tell kids 'oh i guess if the government cut funding for it, we don't need it, so neither do I' yeah, real good message man.
