Well, Bale is Welsh ... When Batman Begins started, Bale decided to use his american accent he learned for the movie so fans wouldn't be confused and think Batman will have this accent ^^

Omfg, I never knew Christian Bale had an accent. It's so weird how he speaks without it in the movie, just like the actor who plays Wolverine. Hughe...don't know the last name

if you look around youtube for different interviews with Christian. You will see/hear that his accent is always different. This is because he is a method actor and usually always preparing for the next role. He is English though and has an English accent.

He's actually from Wales, but it does seem a bit like a cross between a few different accents.

Nice looking man, but what a strange accent. Sounds like a cross between a Brooklyn, New York accent and some sort of English dialect. I thought they sounded like Liverpool speakers in Wales, just not as sing-songy. Thank God we speak perfect unaccented English in Washington, DC. I am just kidding. LOL Don't write with hate comments. LOL :-)
