This movie couldn't be more wrong in how things are handled in the food industry. I'm a farmer and also a quality inspector on the food we grow. I have to meet very specific specifications which exceeds anywhere else in the world.50 years ago people would've laughed at this movie, but since this generation is so far removed from the farm no one actually knows the truth.

So you're saying efficiency in production stages should be valued more so than the quality of the finished product itself? That doesn't sound right.
And what kind of retort is that? No, I've checked my pockets and I don't have those studies on me, do you have yours? Vague because it's a character limited youtube comment. Plus, I'm a chef, I need to know these sorts of things. It's pretty basic knowledge that organic meats and such taste better and have lower water content etc.

@ deathmelon6789 - No kidding! :)

efficiency I was referring to is the efficiency of production. in pure logical bases, we should consume aforementioned items and dead humans too. entropy will be maximized when germs turn them into useless heat, might as well slow down that entropy increase and do some useful work.
quite interestingly, from the place I came, we actually eat them
"nutrition" and "unhealthy" are some very vague and very big terms when you label them around. Do have solid studies about those subjects? or is it FOX

Oh, and over consumption is also a relatively new part of our culture, ever since companies like the ones in question, add in addictive substances to their food. Sugar alone is in most commercial products as it's a highly addictive substance.

Over consumption plays it's part, greed is part of todays lifestyle, but over consumption of natural unmodified foods beats consumptions of foods that are unhealthy and contain less nutritional value than it's higher quality counterparts.
And no, there is more to it than just efficiency. They're still living creatures. By your logic your diet must consist of brain, eyeballs, nostrils, hooves etc. dogs, rodents, even dead humans, because that would be efficient. Nothing goes to waste.

why are chemicals bad. what's wrong with companies increasing profit. obesity, heart disease seem to be a problem of over consumption instead the problems of food themselves.
They being alive is to me a waste, maintaining a brain is expensive and waste feed, should try to bread meat growing meat only to maintain minimal neural functions to sustain the meat |
