I agree. Although I found a lot of the narration very amusing for that reason: "a totally visually impaired person". Or at the end the narrator leaves us in deep contemplation with: "it was we the normally sighted people who have been blind throughout to the wonders of Open Source technologies on the Linux platform". The elevator music also give this video a lot of character. But seriously, it is really great to hear about deployments of Orca around the world.

I beleave this is a very good iniciative but the voice over ruins this presentation; for gods sake: We call it the blind?

The narration did sound rather condescending.

as a visually impaired person myself, i hate the first few seconds of the voice over. consider re-writing it, because it comes across as insulting, not helpful

This is wonderful. I'm also VI, and want to move to linux, but couldn't find a good screen-reader. This sounds like it will work. It sounds like the eSpeak API. Correct? Thanks for sharing.
