i beg to differ, ya he cant really hold a note, but the growliness of his voice is fitting to the music giving it a unique sound. if you had clean vocals (like sonata arctica) with bodom it would change the outlook of the band completely.

Sonata Arctica is like an Orchestra. Beautiful vocals and symphonic instruments. And does that solo sound like a Mega Man level. The lead singer of CoB is trying to do Death metal voices. I enjoy the sound though.

I have to jump into this convo here. Sonata Arctica is amazing. Point blank they are talented and that can't be argued. Tell me they're not talented then all I ask is for you to post a video of you playing even half as good as them. I just checked out "Children of Bodom"...and yeah, they're good too...EXCEPT, their lead singer sucks. He just tries to sound rough and yell, but its just bad. Tony at least carries notes and can sing with the music. Bodom's singer bites - good music, bad singer.

Paid in full is pretty good. The rest..not so much. At least they did something new with the drums in this song. :| Their drummer has a lot of talent, but his part sounds similar in many songs.
