Thanks for the story. After failing to sweet talk the shrewd child with condescending chatter about Mickey Mouse, earrings, and "bone structure," Trixie's candid use of the vulgar word "tits" seems to me to be the whole point of the scene. Thank goodness Madeline relented. Her fabulous delivery of the big tits line blows "Here's lookin' at you kid" right out of the water.

My favorite scene in the film. "You like Mickey the Mouse?" lol :)

You know what's funny? I said the exact same thing when I saw this movie! It is a strange resemblence though.

that is true, on the commentary for the film , the director said she didnt want to say 'Tits", she wanted to say breasts. The Director than had her say it both ways. according to him, the little laugh after she says the line is real because she had never said tits before, and when she almost fell actually happened too !

truly..one of my favorite movies. Top 5 for sure. Madeline Kahn was so talented..everything she was in..she stole the show. I know Tatum got the Oscar that year for supporting actress, but this 3 minutes of film is worth at least as much as all the scenes Tatum was in. The 70's were the last decade of great American film making as far as I'm concerned..and Madeline Kahn was in her prime. Gone too soon that's for sure.

I love this movie and I love this scene; I think we've all had a scene like this in our own lives, the first time an adult told us how things really are without talking down to us. RIP Madeleine Kahn...
