Try going on tour and having to restring, tune and control that your guitar is in top condition every fucking gig.

yes it does, as 22 frets is 2 notes short of a third octave. 0, 12, 24. Three octaves. With 22 notes you can't reach that last note on the octave without changing strings, which is pretty irritating. I hate playing 22 fret guitars.

Is this the guitar Jimmy Page was given years ago as a trial, I think it had a number of buttons controlling various tunings..
