The State of MA has a larger % of whites then minorities but the inner city of Boston is mainly minorities. White people will drive into the city from the suburbs to go to work downtown or catch a Celtics or Red sox game but they are not trying to even live in Boston like that. There are a few white areas of boston like southie and Charlestown, just like there's white areas in LA and Chicago... but there are hoods everywhere.

Replies like that are dumb and way off... not condoning what they are doing but if you came here or even googled statistic you would see that the City of Boston has a large % of minorities most of the whiteys and ppl with good money live outside of Boston.
