I was merely letting you know that I too had played baseball at different levels, but nooo you had to find fault with my comments rather than find fault with the other boorish American football fans who were saying baseball is a faggot sport, it's stupid, it's boring, etc. Is that not bashing baseball? PS. I went to school with 2 players currently on Rice, 2 players on the University of Texas, grew up with a guy who plays for LSU, and to be honest, we're all about the same skill level. None of us are much better than the other. Getting to a school like Texas or LSU is just a matter of getting noticed by scouts, and knowing the right people to put in a good word for you. Unless you are beyond outstanding, players from smaller schools can be just as good. It is not like football in that respect.

My cousin pitched for Louisiana-Lafayette in the College World Series.. you think they got any respect? He's in the Majors right now, and there are people from LSU, USC and Cal st Fullerton who aren't in the Majors, so stfu. And you weren't defending baseball. You were bashing football. There is a difference.

@coloniaIVU I was responding to your comment how you tried to back your opinion with credentials by saying you played HS, semi pro, and adult rec league. I said, your credentials mean nothing to me, as I have played div 1 baseball in college. I could have played pro ball but realized I could be making more money doing other things. And to be honest, I was better at basketball and football than baseball.. but baseball is easier to play at the div 1 level, so I did that instead.

damn dudes it's hilarious how such heated arguments can erupt from a comedy routine. both football and baseball are dope in their own ways, but you really can't compare them at all because of the different talents they each require. firstly mlb and nfl players are all fuckin amazing athletes, and that can't be argued, secondly football isn't just about brute strength and baseball isn't for sissy's. regardless i didn't think this guy was that funny at all, but that's just my opinion. later
