Actually David Bowie's tune is called "Space Oddity" about this same Major Tom character theme that Peter continued with his song. Two very different types of songs/styles to compare. I like them both but I guess if you prefer the song with more bounce then this is it.

I like this song, even though it came out before the 1985? or 86 CHALLEGER DISASTER AND NOW OF CORUSE THE COLUMBIA DISASTER I WOULD dedicate this those who lost their lives may they all rest in peace.
