Oh, for goodness sake. The kid loved it! Several times the parents offered to end it and she wanted more! The whole thing was fun for her, the parents were very supportive, and it was educational. Gimme a break.

this is absolutely insane! this is not education, it's monkeying. this can only be accomplished at the insistence of the parents, perhaps fulfilling some kind of perverse "reaching my failed goals through my child" motivation. sooner or later this child is going to revolt, and nobody is going to come out of this intact. i feel sorry for this child. let a kid be a kid, there's PLENTY of time to educate. the fastest way to turn a child off of learning is to force feed it down their throats. pity.
