listen to "both sides now", it is a great story about love and what happens to people and their expectations of what life and love brings....her lyrics are incredible..."give me spots on my apples but leave me the birds and the bees" talks about how we accept horrible chemicals and the death they bring to get what marketers call the perfect product...the same thing with food coloring and flavoring that is probably causing an epidemic of autism in our kids....

Man.. The only reason why I heard of Joni Mitchell is because of Janet Jackson song Got 'til it's Gone featuring Q-tip and Joni Mitchells sample of Big Yellow Taxi. I will be studying this singer.. Any more suggestions?

its education man .. the thing about artists is that they all cover, rework, remix, get inspired by other stuff. its not that difficult to take a few minutes to find out what led to the creation of a song you like, even if its not a creation :)
