remember that every old band used to record all together and without cuts; so you had to be a very good musician (no mistakes at all)and have a perfect "fiato" with the band to do that. I agree with you, as a musician I see today people worried about the effects they use more than the music itself.

theres few women singers that just cut me to me heart.. mavis staple.. wow... Always have the hairs stand up in the presence of her voice
