Video was made assuming you already have the skills and equipment I guess. Soldering isn't incredibly hard to do, tin everything first and make sure you dont mix up wires.

well u would have to hunt down those powercaps, disect ur batt, buy a sodder iron, buy sudder, safty glasses, know how to sodder cuz it does take practice..ect. just buy a new batt, kool though
