hahaha - cool hairstyle! If you are interested in some old live stuff for downloading then have a look at Flotsams official website - former drummer Kelly Smith placed at the disposal. (DOWNLOADS or MESSAGEBOARD). You will enjoy it!

W/regard to Dave E: Yeah, no shit...what happened to Jr? I was absolutely enthralled with Ellefson's bass playing. But where is he now? Mustaine is a fucking genius guitarist/songwriter. He's gotten consistently better over the years.

I tend to disagree - he played with Voivod and their old stuff was definitely complex and weird, plus playing with Ozzy rounded him as all around rock bassist. I was actually expecting great things from him after he quit Metallica - I was think "this guy will now blow them away with all the songs he's written" but I guess same as Dave Elefson - he was just a shadow of a great frontman.

Yeah, I think they went on to MCA, but Newstead...well, who the hell knows what they let him play on those Metallica records. He was an animal on that first FJ record though. Fuck, I loved that record when I got it. Jason just never evolved past the furious, punk inspired, thrash bassist.
