Greetings from Ireland. I'm so glad my daughter had the patience and took the time to teach me how to use the computer and introduce me to the Internet. Just look at all the great bluegrass music I'd be missing. My feet hav'nt stopped tapping. One word....BRILLIANT.

ruleoforder-WTF? You again? This old man INVENTEED the music he is playing. Like it or not. Inventing a style of music, irregardless of the complexity or lack thereof, is a tremendous creative feat. How is that ignorant?

Simple music for simple minded people. LOL. LONG LIVE IGNORANT SHEEP...

The song at the beginning is Wheel Hoss, a classic Bill Monroe standard.

I like what Jimmy Martin said about why he loved Bluegrass so much.He said "because it was perfect".Pity the fools who attempt to debate.

AMEN! There's a clip on here of Chet Atkins on the Arthur Miller show in which Chet makes a comment that you may find interesting. I don't have the url for the clip, but the words are very true. He talks about how country and pop musics will continue to meld until it all becomes a "bland mediocrity" I believe was his words. At that point people would revert to true country. I think we are seeing this today even in bluegrass. Let's hope his predicted change comes very soon!
