holy shit!!! holy shit!! this book always scared the crap outta me!! MAX IS THE SCARIESY THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! IDK WHY!! i was sooo traumatized as a child by him, i used to have really really violent nightmares about him, so bad that not only would i sleepwalk, but i would be crying while doing so. its still scares me shitless to this day. (i dont sleepwalk any longer, btw) but i still have nightmares about him!
