You can have fun with the GT-R. You can powerslide it and feel the massive G's. Watch the Fifth Gear and Top Gear Japan Special. The car just doesn't break. The tranny failure is just an isolated incident whereby the owner, obviously a noob, launched every few minutes without letting it cool down, thus overheating it and eventually blowing up. The GT-R does 34.45mpg on Japanese roads, mostly town areas.

the C6 zo6 7.0L can get up to 34 mpg on interstate and 20+ in town. what does a GTR get? ANd if you think about it on the "dogging it out shit" i can go hop in my camaro and beat the shit out of it... and nothing breaks.... Hell my DSM which is notorious for breaking all the time. i can go rev it to 7k and side step the clutch. Hell when i slide the car around in parking lots i clutch kick it... And it doesnt break...?... So whats up w/ reliable? Why pay for one if you cant have fun in it?

Yes,almost all the important performance advantage. Very great track car. But the GT-R just owns it in comfort and daily driving. And I still back my comment on V8s being gas guzzlers.

Look. the R34 is a beast of a car. but this GTR is a piece of shit. Nissan doesn't even back it. name one other company that voids your warranty if you turn TCS off. OR a company that records any modification's w/ a logger or changes in boost levels or ANY other mods to the car Just so when you go in for routine work or to get your oil change. POOF your warranty.OR a company that makes you out 23 thousand dollars for a new transmission.
Fuck you. im done w/ this convo.

WOW! V8! That's great! Z06=V8
If price, reliability, durability and performance are part of our criteria, the GT-R destroys the Z06. back to this argument. Buuuut now your saying the Zr1 is better. which is all i needed to hear. Thank you good sir.

Now,now, child. Calm down. The Miata has limited tuning capabilities. Extremely few tuning shops provide support to it. I know what I'm talking about, unlike you,who just make first impressions of cars by reading magazines. Let me repeat my sentence again so your shit brain can get it. The ZR1 has almost every advantage over the GT-R. All the important criteria. Now what you are comparing is like 350Z vs GT-R. Now understand that, and if you're still stumped, typical of teens, get back to me.

why he so fast change gear?
Nemeancb (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
*sigh* duh in a straight line. but miatas are known for their 50/50 weight distribution and awesome ability to take turns. you dont get out of 2nd gear in most autocross courses. i should have said civic. because it have vtec. Which in your vocabulary means it can do anything better than something w/o vtec.
Nemeancb (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
what the fuck? did you fail at life? the miata is supposed to be one of the better affordable tuners that can do an autocross track... You know.. that thing w/ the turns?. and who are you to call me a muscle nut? i have a 98 awd talon and a 90 fully race prepped 240sx coupe. and any idiot knows you dont need alot of power to win a race w/ turns. LOL and 3 seconds not being that good? Go learn about some cars and then come and talk because you obviously dont know shit. |
