Hey, I love Freddie Mercury but he didn't even TRY when he did this song. He treated it like a joke.
The Platters, on the other hand, take this beautiful song seriously and they did the definitive version.

he is most definately a great singer but the greatest tenor ever?? A bit of an overstatementMaybe in his particular genre but I think Pavaroti and certainly Caruso fans might think otherwise...however they sang Opera not Doo-Wop

Im sorry but this version is better than Freddy Mercury's version. The tempo is too slow is Freddy's but just where it should be in this one. I think Freddy has an amazing voice but I still like this version more...
