Hey Christian, Are You Saved?

Most people calling themselves Christians today will say, "Yes I'm Saved..." when that question is asked.

Many people today claim that they know the plan of salvation. Here are some plans I have heard in recent years. 

Just believe - Accept Christ - Confess and Believe - Just be a good person - obey Acts 2:38 - Follow the Romans road - Believe in your heart Confess with your mouth - Just read the Bible and Pray - Obey the ten commandments...

The list goes on and on, but according to the Holy Word of God found in our Bibles we can do all the above and still not be saved.  According to Jesus there will be people standing before him someday claiming to have done many wonderful things, but  Jesus will say that he never knew them.

If  our plan of salvation does not include love and kindness toward others we are only fooling ourselves and believing a lie.  We can claim salvation all we want to, but if we do not have love in our hearts for all others we will spend eternity with the worst sinners that ever lived on the face of the earth.

Love must come from  the heart, and God looks upon the heart.  If your heart is not right in the sight of God, your soul will not enjoy everlasting life with Jesus.
